Clementi Camp

Friday, November 20th, 2009

Being a singaporean man, you have to serve 2 years of National Service. After that, you got to go back to camp at twice a year for In Camp Training. Once for two weeks and once for one day. I dreaded to go back to camp today like most NSmen even though it was just for one day.

But actually, it was not so bad to go back to camp. We get to familiar faces from last year’s ICT. We detached ourselves from our daily work for a day. It kinda feels like a short break. It was still quite time wasting, nevertheless.

I swear that half of my time there was spent ‘waiting for further instructions’. I could finish so many layouts in that waiting time.

There’s something magical about those green uniforms. The moment you’re in it, you will sit, lie and sleep anywhere, anyhow. We were all lying on chairs, stairs, floors and walls while we nap. I’m not exaggerating. There was one guy who slept on the stairs.

I was quite glad about the BN Day today because we left the camp right before the trains gotten backed with the evening crowd. I hate squeezing in trains.

Now, I’m beat. Time to shower and sleep. I woke up at 5am for god’s sake.

Hot Monk

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

I can’t believe that my first post in this new blog will be about men.

But I got to because I saw a hot monk on the bus just now when I am coming back to office from errands.

The cleft chin, the pointed sharp nose, the nice smooth skin and the deep-sunken mesmerizing eyes completed with what else but a shaved head.

I just can’t take my shaded eyes of him. I mean, why must a monk be so gorgeous. Absolute waste!

One of his arms was exposed and MAN! does he work out!

But maybe he is really just pleasant looking and he only seems hot because he is unavailable. Things you like but can’t get are usually more desirable. Agree?

OMG, I’m sinned for ogling at a monk.
